Been busy with life.... and loving every minute.

We got two new axles on our RV That made me happy.... The issues we had with Good Sam/Agero and recovery 24/7 Tow company is still a joke. We had bearing freeze on one tire and the head melted the thread on the spindle so the tire could not be put back on. We paid 7000.00 to have our trailer put on a flat bed and brought home.  Our trailer was instead drug behind a typical tow truck and dump in front of the house next door. The drivers dumped and left before we knew they had showed up. When we seen our trailer it was a mess.. covered in pink oil (DEF) all four tire were toe out and worn to the inside. We call to get the trail moved to our yard we knew if we moved it they would put all the mess on us. We filed a claim for damages but got denied. They said it was because we moved it before we reported the damages. The day I called to have it moved to our yard we told them we would not tow it due to damage caused by the improper tow and would have our mechanic look it over and we would file a claim. We ended up getting 528.00 (after deductible) from our insurance company to replace one axle. So we bit the bullet and just paid to fix our RV.

 

 

Now the fun begins fixing all the residual damage from dragging a 29 ft Travel trailer in 3 tire. That is like dragging it with a 8.0 earth quake for 370 miles... That is not a good thing... I chase water leaks all fixed... Had to remove most the silicone on the trailer and replace it. It was cover in DEF from the tow truck. Had to remove and repair the fenders... they were cracked at the screw hole some from age some from how the tied our axle up. Had to re-level the Pop out they tied a strap around it to support the effected axle.

WE just had our Propane system check and there were leaks so we are dealing with replacing all the soft lines. A new regulator 2 connection hoses and the house from the regulator to the trailer.

I am happy we will be back on the road this is my dream trailer... We look for years until we found a floor plan we liked... 2 large humans and two small dogs have room to breath.
