OK, the first leg

We are off, trailer in tow and the pups ready for vacation or at least they think they are.

Yep North, bound.

We did arrived at our favorite RV Park in Beatty, NV. 

The Space Station RV Park... it is a hard drive 447 miles but it makes the second day easier.














OK day two and we are off...

Went thru a few cool towns took a few pictures out the window.. Tonopah, NV.

 is always my favorite it is an old tow full of character...

If there is one thing Nevada is not short of it is hills...  I still remember the state song " home means Nevada, home means the hills" LOL

I spent one third of my life in this desert, Brings back happy memories.

Arrived in stage Coach Nevada, the home of my cousin and his wife they are great host... It was a long trip 735 total, But so worth the drive we always enjoy their company. I will get pictures tomorrow we are a wee bit tired

Back on Track

 

The truck works thanks to "justask dot com". They knew our problem and gave me a easy fix so back at it. I am so excited. So we will pull out tomorrow... I am tied and stressed but ready to go...

Delays

 OK, trip delayed for a few days the Climate control module went out on the truck, the part is out of stock due to chip supply issues due in maybe mid July, I found one used on Ebay. I contacted the seller and they are sending it two day at not extra cost... So hoping to be on the road on or near the 5th of June...

I am having faith in Gods timing, and keeping myself positive. Keep us in your prayers.

Boy Howdy

 I am beyond Excited... 4 more days and we will be off on our adventure... Please keep us in your prayer.. I do not anticipate any issues just can always use a good word with the big guy.

We have been so busy getting ready we are not sure what to do next... there are list to be completed as the days get closer... But we are staying on track.

We will stop in and say hi to my mom, we put her ashes straight across about where the light is.. Mom,  My uncle Gary and my Granny are all out there... watching over us. So this is always a stop on any travels North.

This tree was trying to get back to the waters edge, I think we interrupted his journey.

It's the little things that we miss...

 Funny sitting at dinner with my honey tonight and I started to think of things i will miss about Arizona while we are gone and the number one is the food... Yep the spices, the style the food is prepared... When in Rome.. eat Mexican food... Yep I will miss it all. Yes a lot of states have Mexican food places but not like our little whole in the wall home made authentic flavors. In Arizona you pass at least 3 if not more places on the way to the grocery store 4 miles away... So yes it is number one on my list.

Next on my list will be my friends....Here is two of them... Carol and Amber.
I need to get pictures of the rest of the ladies that make my life complete with
their friendship and kindness.



Then my crafty sewing space... where I cut, sew and iron fabrics that I turn into hugs for my friends...

Then my back yard my "safe Space" or so I think when needing some
time to think I play in my back yard.. it is not grand but it is a quite space in the city.

Looking at this picture I see the change 12 yrs has made.. I believe this was 2016

I will enjoy the vacation and enjoy catching up with friends and family
that live in the states we will travel to... But none the less I do have reasons to return...

Getting all in order...

 So much to do so little time...LOL!!

As the date gets closer I get more excited, checking list and the itinerary. Starting to fill the trailer as well as set up for the needs of my 91 yr old father in law while we are gone. putting in all new drip watering system for the yard, The last of the simple maintenance for the trailer and get the truck serviced.



This will be our abode for the three months we are gone, and home is where we park it.

25 x 8 living space, the trailer total length is 29 ft with a small pop out living area with full kitchen and walk around queen bed. We also love the two doors. We put a fan over the bed, 200 watts of solar, and traded the propane tanks for two 30 lb tanks... We have an over sized AC and a good heater as well....We are ready to camp almost anywhere

Our travel companions have been to the groomers, had all their shots So they are ready to go as well. Meet Mandy and Buddy our babies. Mandy is about 7 and Buddy is almost 13..

 

 

 

OK,  back to what Ken Call Trippin' double checking the plans and  making reservations...

The Countdown Begins.

 Who knew that a year ago as we started to plan our trip that is would get here so fast. Wow, I am not sure if I am excited or nervous. But I am sure I am ready to go.

Route mapped
Reservations made
List are made and remade
Roof refinished and the cap is sealed
Skylight dome replaced
Trailer is washed and polished
Propane tanks full
Solar installed
New Batteries installed
Tail like housing replaced
Tanks cleaned and flushed
Stickers bought
Map Mounted
Bed washed and made
Non perishable food moved to trailer
Security cameras inside and outside set up.


The list goes on and on... All was or is needed and it will make our travels more peaceful.

I will be taking some busy work for me English paper piecing and the stuff to make my round dish scrubbies. Other than that I will be the Co-Pilot. So if we get lost it will be Googles fault...LOL!!!!
