Hurry up and slow down...

Wow I can't believe it is all ready the eve of a new year. We are still remodeling the house and both working. What a good feeling to know we are all healthy and have  jobs a pay check and financial security to live a simple day to day life.

I am happy the world did not end on the 21st cause to be honest I would miss everyone..  :)

I joined a wonderful group of lady's called the Skype Girls.. they have renewed my need to create art... So you will see more of what Roseann call yummy goodness from me in the next few weeks.. I am still working on my craft room so it is a slow process  :)

For now, I want to wish all I know and love a Happy New years filled with enough to keep you warm, happy and smiling...

A Good Reason..

OK, I have to admit moving back to Arizona was not just about money.. it was about the need to be warm. Yes, I admit I hate to be cold and days like this really sealed the deal for me...

The challenge of driving was not always pleasant

Shoveling to keep the 8lb Pomeranian from jumping the fence was not fun.

 

 

 

It is beautiful to look at I will admit that...

 

As I sit here looking at the photo wondering if I will miss the snow this holiday season.... I will have to honestly say no.. I am warm and can go to visit the snow if I so feel the need to be cold.

Some Of The Best Moments...

You ever have one of those moments that just make you laugh... well it happened one day.. up at the property when my husband and grandson went camping and of course Auntie Kattie always went to make a big fire and take lots of pictures since I had to work.

My grandson Shayden always love to ride on grandpas four wheeler. I have pictures of him on it grinning from ear to ear since he could barley walk..

but one day he decided to take his four wheeler camping and so him and grandpa could ride up the hill together.... well I will let the pictures tell the story.

This what I would call getting a little help from a friend...  after they got to the top of the driveway... They of course had to scare off all the bad guys and big animals...

After all the hard work was done Auntie Kattie would build a big Ole camp fire..

and we would eat YUM!!!

A blast From The Past

Well we are home in Arizona. I made Arizona my home in 1982, met the man of my dreams and bought a house, had kids then moved to Idaho in 1992. We lived there 20 years through sickness and health for richer and poorer we raised two awesome daughters and son. They have all grown and started lives of their own... leaving us to make the decision to come home and we did.. 20 years later we are Back in Arizona Starting a new chapter in our lives. While in Idaho I became a paper crafter and enjoyed many hours of crafting and honing my skills. I will share a few of my favorite projects with you before I start to add my newest projects as they take shape.

Yes we did leave the mountain and all it splendor to live in the desert... But I am very happy and warm here...

to New beginnings...

This blog truly makes it all new.. I had a blog for over 6 yrs and with a change of email to gmail my blogger accounts were deleted.. So I start over.. maybe it will be better who knows but I will blog many things here, my crafts, my words and try to inspire you all to go out side the box and try new things. What is the worst that can happen..... have to get out a new piece of paper or repaint an item.... that is my theory. Stay tuned it will be come very colorful here real soon!!
