Loving being in Idaho with my kids and Grandkids...

 Still in Idaho loving my visit.. did the tourist thing with with my Grand daughter Payson... had a blast. 

Started the day at the Cataldo Mission I have always loved this place.

We then went to the Mining museum in Kellogg Idaho... was such a fun experience. These local museums offer so much history of the area it is so worth the visit.

We into the rest room and this scared me...LOL The mannequin was in the old shower..

We then drove buy the local ski hill Silver Mountain for many years it boasted the longest Gondola in the US. It is a cool place to visit, they even have a water park...

I love the old towns.. in this area...

After driving thru the valley and sight seeing it was time for a good old fashion cheese burger... YUM!!

After spending the day driving thru the valley we went up river and had ice cream at the Y and then off to another museum in Murry Idaho... had such a fun day.


The building on the left is the oldest masonic lodge in Idaho, when we lived here we had trees cut down from our property and mill into lumber to help restore a wall the was almost destroyed from the snow melting over the years.

The Sprag Pole bar and restaurant, host a large free museum... all items have been 

donated by local families.

The town was also destroyed again in 1916 the only buildings the survived were the shells 

that were build from brick.

The Ice cream stop at Baybins Y, had fun just goofing off with my Daughter grandson and grand daughter.

Every where you drive in the area is full of green forest with rivers and streams.

Last year they had a devastating fire came very close to taking out a lot of the local history. 

Believe it or not this is a legal road in this area... and yes it is a fully maintained dirt road,
