Good Morning,

Summer gave way to fall and the temps in Arizona are perfect. I know a lot of people think the low 80 thru the 70's is summer weather, but for us this is makes for chilly mornings (50's and 60"s). We put an extra layer on the bed and dig out our winter clothes... I was ready this year. We have had a bit of late season rain and enjoyed it all. When it rains in the desert it is so dramatic any weather is exciting when you get 350 days of sunshine.

On to a lighter note I am preparing for a friends giving. I am very excited, it will be a pot lunch with a hint of a tea party, so I am baking some extra goodies. This last week I made cookies, getting ready to try my hand at butter mints and next week I will start to bake some of the things that are best fresh. I will also start to work on my Christmas candy making... This will be another hands made Christmas... been working on it all year.. I am excited.
